I am laying in bed, looking at a slate gray sky, listening to the rain beat against my window, watching the large fir tree in our back yard dance in the cold December wind. I was hoping for snow.
I have decided to postpone all meeting of men until after December 18th when my student recital and all my gigs are over. I have much planning and practicing to do.
But first I need to get vertical.
You see, I am still in bed. Pondering. And reading dating advice. I found a website called "anewmode.com". And one of the writers, Sabrina Alexis is the profound voice of reason and logic.
I had an "aha!" lightbulb moment when I read her article
"The Number One Reason Men Suddenly Lose Interest"
http://www.anewmode.com/dating-relationships/reason-men-lose-interest/
She describes almost exactly what I have been experiencing in my feeble attempt to reenter the dating zone. As I typed those last two words, I could hear the theme song from "The Twilight Zone" in the back of my head.
"You are traveling through another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind. A journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination. Your next stop,..." the DATING ZONE! (The Twilight Zone opening narration:https://en.m.wikiquote.org/wiki/The_Twilight_Zone_(1959_TV_series)
I will have to continue my thoughts later. I am now up and I see a few snowflakes falling!
Suffice to say, that I wait for no man!
Happy Monday!
