Hello Again:
How time flies! I have been most busy with my move. But the dust is finally settling. And so am I!
This move was perfectly timed. Summer is notoriously slow for piano teaching. I need some serious space in my life. Time to enjoy each moment with my family, especially my grandbaby, who seems to grow in leaps and bounds!
Time to continue purging what is no longer needed in my life. I still have a storage facility full of books, music, photos, journals and momentos from my 57 years on this planet.
I plan on going through each item until I no longer need room for storage.
I am enjoying the new place. I've discovered that the park across the street from our apartment complex is quiet in the early mornings.
I do believe I am finally becoming a morning person!
I have been starting each day with a walk and some time with my hoop. I am slowly increasing my hoop time, now that I have more time in my day, and space to hoop in!
I am still working on my eating habits, and pondering my emotional attachment to food. Especially my fear of scarcity. Or FOS as my daughter wryly calls it.
I hope now that I am in a more secure place, that I will calm down and be grateful and present for each moment instead of worrying and fretting about mere survival.
We have my son-in-law's teenage niece staying with us for a few days. She is a lovely girl. And my daughter and I were overjoyed to find out she enjoys doing crafts! That is something we all have in common and something I hope to enjoy now that I actually have some down time, that is not on the bus!
I do have to keep this blog short today. I hope to get back into the daily habit. I find it helps me stay on course.
But for now, I wish you a happy Monday. And I hope to talk to you tomorrow!
I will leave you with a few of my recent hooping videos.
Day 355:
And Day 356:
Love,
Zita
P.S. I am quite poofy eyed here. Still trying to catch up on my sleep and figure out what I am allergic to!
