It is so good to see the sunshine again! My spirits are lifted! I stuck to my commitment and did my morning hooping this morning. It feels so right to be back into a routine again! I feel like the puzzle pieces are starting to fall back into the big picture of my life.
I also packed a healthy lunch to take with me to Portland. A spinach salad, an apple, a rice cake, a handful of nuts, an almond butter energy ball, and some instant miso soup. I got to town early and stopped in at McDonald's for my $1 cup of tea. I relaxed and did some rea
ding and paid some bills. Then I ate my salad and apple. I was most proud of myself! I will save the miso soup for my afternoon break.
I am actually blogging in my classroom before my first piano group arrives. It is nice and quiet in my room. That will change in about 10 minutes when six 7 year-olds charge in.
I'd better prepare myself. Perhaps another cup of tea is in order?
