I stuck with the plan yesterday. I started and ended the day with stretching with classical music in the background. This morning I feel better. I got up easier than usual. Made it to church.
I had a nice lunch with my son, daughter and son-in-law. We went to Laughing Planet. I had a veggie chili and green salad.
I only had one student this afternoon. So my son volunteered to be my chauffeur. We went to the library where I printed some sheet music for a student and my daughter. We also picked up a stack of dvd's. Then I went to teach my student in the neighborhood and he went out for chai tea. We met back up and did some grocery shopping before heading home.
For dinner, I made the above carrot-ginger soup. Except instead of onions, I used a shallot. I also added a bit of grated lemon peel, coriander and almond milk at the end. I also sauteed some red potatoes with minced garlic and green onion. Added some chicken sausage and that was dinner. Very tasty and pretty darn healthy!
I'm going to do some more stretching and then settle in with an old Pink Panther movie.
I'm trying to hold on to this inner peace. Structuring my time so that I am more productive, yet not hurried is key for me.
Happy Sunday! :)
